This same sex maternity photography session in the water at Gold Creek Pond in North Bend, WA was absolutely amazing! I had so much fun with Rica & Lani getting in and out of the water, filming all kinds of crazy behind the scenes videos (gotta get content for the gram) and getting Rica in and out of all of the elaborate dresses from my client closet. If you’re considering an in the water maternity photoshoot look no further than this beautiful spot. It’s Nestled between the mountains with a great view. This is the quintessential Pacific Northwest location and is fantastic to shoot at year-round. It’s one of my most requested spots because you really can’t take a bad photo here!

The Gold Creek Pond trail is a fun one for those looking for a quick 20-30 minute loop around the lake. It’s almost entirely flat making it ideal for families with small children. I always recommend my clients take a little walk around for the stunning views before or after their session.

These are two of the most recognizable and desirable dress designers in the maternity photography world. I just love the way the pink and blue pops against the backdrop and works so well on her!
